BIM Hero DAO Summit 2027 - Code of Conduct
This Code of Conduct applies to everyone at the BIM Hero DAO Global Summit 2027, Nashville, May 12-14, 2027, and all its events, in person and online.
The Summit exists to connect people who build the AEC and BIM industry. Everyone who takes part (attendees, speakers, sponsors, volunteers and staff) is expected to make it a professional, respectful and safe space, at every Summit event, including the welcome party, dinner, tours and the online event platform.
We expect you to:
• Treat everyone with respect, whatever their role, seniority, background or views
• Engage in good faith: debate ideas, not people
• Respect people's time and boundaries, including a "no" to a meeting, a pitch or a photo
• Follow venue rules and the instructions of event staff, guides and site staff
• Drink responsibly at evening events
We do not tolerate:
• Harassment, intimidation or discrimination of any kind, in person or online
• Unwelcome physical contact, sexual attention or offensive comments
• Aggressive or persistent selling after someone has declined
• Photographing or recording people who have asked not to be recorded
• Disrupting sessions or behaviour that puts others at risk
Sponsors and exhibitors must follow the same standards. Commercial conversations are welcome; pressure selling is not.
If something happens. Speak to any member of event staff or the registration desk, or email info@bimhero.io. Online attendees can also report through the event platform. Reports are handled discreetly and taken seriously. If anyone is in immediate danger, call 911 (US emergency services).
What we will do. We may warn the person, remove them from the Summit without refund, or ban them from future events, as we judge appropriate. Where needed, we will involve venue security or the police.
